Hey, thanks for rekindling my love for Damien Rice. *goes to find copy of O from years ago*
Dry the River - New Ceremony
Dennis and I went to see this band last night at Cafe du Nord in San Francisco and they put on a great show. Their album Shallow Bed is one of the best albums I have listened to in a while and definitely the best of this most recent surge of “nu-folk” bands that have been popping up all over the place.
I’m finding so much good music now. This makes me happy.
They recorded this song in MOVING cars? Gaaahhh. They’re so goooood. And that bass line is so much fun!!!! GAAAAH.
Monsters Calling Home - “Fight To Keep”
Send me some great folk-acoustic music. I will probably love you forever.
Or some dope hip-hop.
Hey, even some suit music, like Raphael Saadiq or Mayer Hawthorne kind of stuff.
You know what, any really good type of music will do, as long as it makes my heart go.
@7 hours agoThese are the drunk fools trying to give me girl advice. Yeah, no thanks haha. I’m fine being single anyway.

SUPPORT! :D
Supporting my friend Ray, and you should support too!!!
Thank you angryasianman for posting this video. I fell in love the moment that folky guitar riff started. So good. And they’re Asian-Americans, which is pretty cool. They’re from LA, though, but that’s passable. I love everything about this song.
It’s songs like these, though, that make me feel like I’m not good enough. Too good. This is the type of music I want to make!
